Aus Post tracking statuses explained
Tracking your Parcel
The shipping services we offer with Aus Post are a joint partnership between NZ Post and Australia Post. When you track your parcel on the Mix Wizard Tracking page you are receiving updates from both carriers in a single feed. If you track your parcel using the Aus Post tracking tool towards the beginning of your parcels journey you may see it listed as 'pending' this is because Aus Post has not been given the relevant information from NZ Post yet. This information is given to Aus Post at the point your parcel is ready to depart New Zealand.

NZ Post has sent your parcels information to Australia Post, your parcel will now track as a normal domestic parcel from here on when you use the Australia Post tracking tool. |
In transit with the airline |
Your parcel has left New Zealand but has not cleared customs in Australia yet. There is a long queue of parcels at customs in order of priority. On the standard service, your parcel receives no priority, but on the express service, your parcel receives priority lanes for clearance. All express parcels jump to the front of this queue and if customs is busy standard parcels can sit here for the majority of the target delivery time until it is finally cleared in the queue. |
Cleared for import |
Your parcel has been released by customs and is now with Australia Post to make the final delivery. From here onward Australia Post will treat your parcel the same way as any other domestic parcel. |
